Kid Safari app for iPhone and iPad

The adventure begins on a colorful world map with music and motion. An excited safari guide welcomes your child and entices them to "touch a continent to explore!"

Kid Safari engages your child as they experience over 65 native animals while exploring six different continents. Designed by a parent and formally trained educator, Kid Safari has child-tested options that let you tailor the safari experience to your childs age, interests and needs.

For preferences, touch the map compass. This is where you choose the following options for your child:

Peek-A-Boo Grass

For younger children, enable the peek-a-boo grass option. The grass is not intended to cover the entire image. This allows them to spot familiar clues from visible parts of the image. Toddlers enjoy the satisfaction of naming the animals before seeing the entire image. In addition, the surprise peek-a-boo style of revealing an image catches even younger childrens attention as the image and sound are simultaneously presented and reinforced.

Voice

The voice option enables any spoken content within the map and during each Safari. This teaches children how to say the names of animals. Turn off to practice saying each name as it appears.

Animal Sounds

The animal sounds option enables authentic animal sounds during each Safari.

Map Music

The map music option enables music that plays during the map and preferences screens.

Loop Animals

The loop animals option allows young ones to endlessly enjoy the animals of a selected continent. This also disables the return to map arrow during each Safari. Exit and restart Kid Safari to choose another looped continent. To disable Loop Animals, simply quit and restart Kid Safari and return to preferences.
